Join fibre artist and Ply Studio owner, Carmen Bohn, at Luna Glass Studio (299 Crichton Street) to make your own mini contemporary macrame wall hanging. There are 2 workshop times: choose either 10am-12pm OR 2pm-4pm. Both workshops take place on Saturday, June 8th.
You will learn a few fun techniques (nothing overwhelming) which you will use to create your own unique mini work of art. Come have fun creating with others in this bright and fun studio space in the heart of New Edinburgh in Ottawa.You don't have to do anything but sign up and show up! This is your invitation to a totally low-stress, fun and creative time in a great studio environment.
Level: beginner; no previous experience necessary.
Your registration fee includes:
- 2 hours of personalized instruction (plus support after the workshop);
- All supplies to complete your weaving, including premium macrame cord in a variety of colours; and,
- A boredom-busting good time and something to look forward to!
Maximum number of participants: 4 people per workshop (the space is small so spots are really limited; be quick - these will sell out!).

1) These workshops will take place IN-PERSON at Luna Glass Studio in Ottawa (299 Crichton Street, Ottawa).
2) If you are unwell, please stay home and contact Carmen for direction on a make-up class.
3) Please ensure the email hello@carmenbohn.com is in your contacts and whitelisted so that you receive all correspondence about these workshops. You will receive more details about your workshop 2 days before it takes place so watch your inbox.
4) These workshops will be taught in English.
5) The wall hanging you will be creating may differ from the examples shown in this listing. Your weaving will flourish based on your own creativity.
6) These workshops are limited to 4 participants but 3 participants are required for the workshop to take place. If cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be notified about your options to take a different workshop OR receive a refund.
Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable but can be transferred to someone else OR used for a future workshop. Please stay home if you are unwell and contact Carmen. She will make arrangements for you to have a do-over. Should we have to cancel, students will receive a full refund. Please note that we reserve the right to postpone and reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this be the case, we will make every effort to contact students to let them know of the cancellation and to arrange a makeup workshop. Please review all other Ply Studio policies here.
