Want to teach at Ply?
We are always looking to add new workshops to our programming!
We look for artistic endeavours that are relatively simple to teach others or could be taught in parts through a few sessions. We also have our eye on art/craft that has an enduring and timeless quality to it, that can be completed with limited tools and that is FUN! Our programming is primarily virtual right now so it doesn't matter where you're located - we can work with pretty much anything, anywhere!
We give preference to those with a social media presence with quality product photography, as well as demonstrated expertise in a particular craft. Teaching experience is an asset, but not required. We can mentor you toward an excellent learning experience, no problem (it's part of our wheelhouse here at Ply).
Some examples of workshop topics we are currently looking for makers/creatives/artists to teach:
- Drawing/sketching
- Mixed media collage
- Calligraphy/hand lettering
- Watercolour
- Punch needle
- Creative writing
- Journalling
- Printmaking
- Photography
- Sculpture
- Mosaics
- And whatever cool thing you do and want to tell us about!
